It turns out the answer is simpler than we think and it lies in the oldest form of medicine in the world. It’s hard to believe but one of the most important concepts in natural medicine has been tucked away in the catalogs of research for over three decades… It was only by chance while sitting in an allergist office over two decades ago that I discovered this little known research paper.

At that time I was suffering from debilitating allergies and inflammation which made it almost impossible to keep my eyes open due to the swelling, redness, itching us, and pain. My entire body was inflamed with an overproduction of mass cells and it was leading to a histamine overload that my system couldn’t keep up with… This in turn also led to brain fog, headaches, skin rashes, and an overall feeling of fatigue. As I picked up this research article I was intrigued by what was referred to as the rain barrel effect. It very simply and concisely summed up exactly how I had gotten to the state I was currently in.

If you’ve never heard of a rain barrel before it is something that is connected at the bottom of a gutter on your home to collect rainwater as it moves down the drain pipe. It begins to fill up more and more with every rainstorm…

The issue is that most people never check their rain barrel until it begins to overflow. When it doesn’t overflow is when you start to see a person’s lawn become saturated with water in the grass eventually dies due to overwatering.

Our bodies are really no different and if you could think of your own systems as a rain barrel many of us never really think about how our health is until we begin to see or feel symptoms. Is it this point that a rain barrel has already overflowed. For the first time we are now seeing the effects of the immune and balance, bacteria, viruses, got dysfunction, inflammation, or any number of things that have accumulated in our bodies or word us down.

WHY WE GET SICK, FAT & DEPRESSED

The rain barrel effect also explains why some people get so sick while others stay perfectly fine. Numerous factors such as lifestyle, environment, toxic exposure, genetics, and nutrition play a huge role and how quickly or slowly your rain barrel fills up.

The good news is that there is always an answer to your wellness, weight loss, or anti-aging goals. Once you discover how your rain barrel got filled up in the first place you can begin to Empty Your Rain Barrel™ and begin to feel alive again!
