COVID-19 - Be proactive!
While COVID-19 is a new strain of respiratory infection, tried and true basic hygiene and healthy habits can help stem the transmission of the disease. Wash your hands frequently; the rule of thumb is to wash your hands long enough to sing "Happy Birthday" twice. Cover your mouth and nose when sneezing or coughing. Clean common surfaces with disinfectant --- doorknobs, work areas and desks, keyboards, cabinet handles. Avoid contact with anyone manifesting symptoms of a cold or flu. Limit your presence in public gatherings. If you do become sick, stay home.
More importantly, you can take steps to prepare your immune system to ward off infection or minimize the effect of coronaviruses.
